Description: This project is a new restaurant construction for a franchise sports bar restaurant chain. Sprinkler plans were designed for proper coverage of space according to NFPA13 and NYC regulations. Hydraulic calculations were performed to determine the adequacy of city water pressure for the new sprinkler system. It was determined that the existing city pressure was adequate to deliver the minimum pressure and flow required to the sprinklers and no fire pump or pipe size increases were necessary. Special Inspections for Energy Code and Sprinkler System were performed after construction was completed to determine if installation conformed to approved plans and all required regulations.
