  • Description: Full renovation of an existing space for a new clothing retail tenant. Heating and cooling loads were performed to select the proper tonnage of a new central cooling/heating ducted VRF system. Condensing units were installed on ground level in the rear of the building and piped to the indoor units. Ventilation air was provided to the space to comply with code requirements. Special consideration was given to the supply grille sizing to allow proper air flow delivery with the approximate 20ft ceiling.

    Electrical demand calculations with the new loads were performed to determine adequacy of the existing electrical system. Time clock and contacts were added to automatically turn off light lights to a programmed schedule to comply with energy code requirements. After completion of installation, special and progress inspection were performed on the mechanical and lighting system for compliance with approved plans and energy code requirements.
