Description: Performed design in mechanical and fire alarm system for this Day Care Facility upgrade. A scope of work list by NYC Administration for Children’s Services was followed for items to be upgraded for the mechanical and fire alarm system. New exhaust system was designed to provide proper exhaust to the toilet, janitor, and storage rooms. New split system was added to supplement the cooling system for the pantry. Heat loss calculations were performed throughout the building to determine correct airflow quantity to each space for balancing purpose. The Fire Alarm System was upgraded to bring the base building system up to current code requirements.
