Description: This project is a full renovation of an existing Residential building. Modification included the extension of the building, which increased the roof area causing an increase of rain water flow into the city combination sewer system. A House Connection drawing was required based on DEP regulations to determine if the new maximum rain flow into the city combination sewer system was below maximum limits allowed. Calculations were performed which determined that the flow exceeded this value. To restrict the flow below the limit a roof detention system with controlled flow roof drains were designed. Special inspections will be performed for the storm detention facility once construction is completed to determine if installation conforms to approved DEP plans.
