Description: This 3 floor Multi-Family Residential Building with total gross area of approximately 33,000 sqft needed a defective leaking boiler replaced. The existing boiler of 32 HP had a burner input of 1,344,000 btu/hr. The burner was re-used since it was in fairly new and in good working condition. The condensate tank was also leaking due to age and rust and needed to be replaced. Plans were prepared and expediting work was performed to file these at the Department of Buildings. We were engaged in procuring bids from several boiler contractors for the client for comparison as well as completeness of required work scope. Special inspections will be performed of the final installation to confirm conformance with approved plans and proper installation and operation.
