Description: Performed design in the mechanical and fire alarm system for this Day Care Facility upgrade. A scope of work list by the NYC Administration for Children’s Services was followed for items to be upgraded for the mechanical and fire alarm system. New rooftop HVAC units were provided to replace all existing units. A new split system was added to supplement the cooling system for the pantry. Heat loss calculations were performed throughout the building to determine the correct airflow quantity to each space for balancing purposes. The Fire Alarm System was upgraded to bring the base building system up to current code requirements.
