Description: Our firm was engaged to design the HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing system for a gym renovation in a prominent 35 story mixed residential and commercial building with a total of 303 units. We expertly modified the existing HVAC system to accommodate the new layout while maximizing re-use of the current system for cost savings. Plumbing plans were designed for the new fixtures where the existing plumbing system was re-used to the fullest extent to save on construction costs. Specialized HVAC solutions were integrated for the new sauna system, children playroom and gym areas ensuring superior air quality, temperature regulation, and ventilation to support peak performance and occupant comfort. Strict adherence to latest NYC Building Code regulation and NFPA requirements we followed to ensure a quick approval process and construction sign off. All new equipment was circuited to existing panels and load calculations performed to confirm adequacy of existing feeders and panels.
