  • Description: Prepared plans for the replacement of the existing air conditioning unit with new indoor and outdoor units. This building is Landmarked and as a result the filed plans needed to adhere to Landmarks Preservation Commission regulations which requiring section views and elevations to determine visual impact of the work scope. All required items were indicated on the plans to obtain approval at both DOB and Landmarks and eventually signed off. Mechanical special inspection was performed of the final installation to confirm conformance with approved plans and proper installation and operation. Equipment Use Permits were obtained for the condensing units and delivered to the Client. These are necessary to avoid potential future fines at both FDNY and DOB as well as avoid required court appearances.
